In a press release, publisher Deep Silver has shot out the latest Mighty No. 9 trailer called “Masterclass.” In it, game protagonist
Mega Man Beck can be seen dashing his way around the levels and “absorbing” the enemies as he does so.
Here’s the official press release:
Beck’s ‘dash’ ability allows you to traverse through levels at high speed, but don’t forget the dash can be used to defeat weakened enemies and absorb their power ups; making you faster, stronger, and even more agile.
Each time Beck absorbs his enemy his combo multiplier will increase. Chain absorption dashes together to increase your combo and score even higher points. To become a true Mighty master you’ll need to utilize the dash, absorption boosts, and combo multiplier to transform your game to the next level.
I don’t know about you, but Mega Man definitely didn’t have anything this awesome back then.
Mighty No. 9 is being developed by Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune’s studio, Comcept, and is being published by Deep Silver for a June 21 release date on the PS4, PS3, Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
