Japanese Sales Chart: PS Vita Crosses 5 Million, Dragon Quest Heroes II & Overwatch Open Big

Finishing in second place behind the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation Vita sold 15,000 units last week, bringing its lifetime total to over five million in Japan, according to Media Create. However, it is worth noting that Famitsu places the Vita around 4.87 million lifetime, so there is room for error in Media Create’s estimate.

On the software side, Dragon Quest Heroes II had a great debut, moving 374,000 copies across all three PlayStation platforms, with PS4 leading the way. Overwatch, meanwhile, also started off strong, selling 58,000 copies on PS4 in its first week.
