No Man’s Sky PSN Pre-Orders Refunded Due to Recent Delay, Players Required to Opt Back In

Due to its most recent delay, those who pre-ordered No Man’s Sky via PlayStation’s digital storefront will have to confirm their order once again. Hello Games’ Sean Murray said that pre-orders had to be refunded due to the change in dates and players will simply need to opt back in if they’re still interested. He tweeted:

Check for a PSN mail about your NMS pre-order (says the game will release before Dec 31st). Don’t stress. No date change! Just standard thing.

We refunded NMS digital PSN pre-orders because of date change. Opt back in if you still wanna play in August!

If you don’t respond to the email by 11.59 PM PST on June 16, 2016, your order will be cancelled and money refunded.

No Man’s Sky is now scheduled for release on the PS4 and PC on August 9 in North America and August 10 in Europe as well as the UK following recent fan feedback.
