Batman: The Telltale Game Series First Screens and Details Revealed

Telltale Games has released the first details and screenshots for its upcoming Batman game titled, Batman: The Telltale Game Series today.

In a press release, Telltale confirmed that the game will be present at this year’s E3, as well as the cast who’ll comprise the game. Veteran video game voice actor Troy Baker will be the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle.

Batman: The Telltale Game Series will premiere digitally on consoles, PC and mobile devices this summer, and will also be available as a “Season Pass Disc” which will be sold at retail stores across NA, Europe and Latin America also this summer. The disc will grant access to the five-episode season as each episode becomes available for download.

Kevin Bruner, co-founder and CEO of Telltale Games had this to say:

We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City…The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Telltale’ role-playing experience, and we couldn’t be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.

Check out the official screenshots in the gallery below — and so far so good, Telltale seems to have nailed down Batman’s more grounded look.

As a big Batman fan, and as a fan of Telltale’s games, I’m personally excited for this one. I hope Telltale goes the more mature route and gives us a Batman tale like we’ve never seen before. If we get the chance, we’ll definitely check this out at E3 this coming week.
