Warframe Having Its Best Month Ever in Terms of Users

Given the glut of free-to-play (F2P) games out on the market, it’s never easy to retain and even grow an existing player base. But it seems, that’s just what’s happening with Digital Extremes’ Warframe.

In a press release, Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe surged to the top of the Steam user charts (landed at #3) thanks to its update, The War Within. On Friday, November 11, Warframe amassed a new all-time high in Steam concurrent users with 68,530 players and more than 1.2 million hours played in one day.

According to Digital Extremes, Warframe has 26 million registered users worldwide since its launch in March 2013. On the console front, it has also surpassed its record number of monthly active users this November with more than one million unique players across the PS4, Xbox One and PC.

This is certainly good news for F2P fans, no? Are you playing Warframe? Do you want us to do another Warframe giveaway? If so, let us know in the comments and if we get enough responses, we’ll hit the studio up for some in-game stuff.
