Star Wars Battlefront II Beta Announced, Early Access Granted to Those Who Pre-Order

EA has sent out a press release confirming that Star Wars Battlefront II will indeed be getting a beta. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC during fall 2017, ahead of the game’s November 17 release date.

The beta will focus on the multiplayer side of things, allowing players to “jump into a galaxy far, far away to experience the epic scale of the Star Wars universe.”

Those who pre-order, or who have already pre-ordered, will be permitted early access to the beta. How early is not yet known. This pre-order bonus will be granted on top of the other incentives, which now include:

  • An Upgraded Epic Lightsaber Mastery Star Card for Yoda
  • Exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi outfits for Kylo Ren and Rey
  • Instant access to six hero and starfighter epic Star Cards
  • Kylo Ren: Power Reach and Solid Freeze
  • Rey: Far Sight and Deep Mind
  • Starfighters: Enhanced Auxiliary Power and First Order ship upgrade
  • Instant access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi Millennium Falcon with updated sounds and appearance

If you’re eager to see more from Battlefront II, tune into the EA Play stream tomorrow at 12:30 PM PT, to witness “Darth Maul and other cross-era heroes enter the battlefield in a massive multiplayer livestream gameplay event.”
