The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II Out Today In Europe

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II releases on the PlayStation Store today in Europe. This Diablo-style RPG picks up where the first game left off, asking the question “What happened after you saved the world?” The answer is, not much good, as a new enemy has appeared to spread evil.

To celebrate its release, developer NeocoreGames has released a new trailer for the action RPG:

Players can import their character from The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing to truly continue their story. Alternatively, you can pick one of three classes to start fresh, ensuring that you don’t have to be stuck with a character you don’t want!

Here’s even more information from the PlayStation Blog:

[Van Helsing II] also introduces the Rage mechanic, adds more to do in the Hunter’s Lair (such as the decorative modifiers of the Hall of Trophies), and opens up new areas to explore, making this episode all about a larger scale, while remaining true to the intense action and adventurous exploration of the first game.

We’re also introducing a new pet: the Chimera, an artificial beast from the Ink who can be summoned in battles or sent to hunt treasures.

A technical side note: the game supports the advanced technical capabilities of the PlayStation 4 Pro, giving an option for a “Better performance” mode (1920×1080 resolution targeted at 60fps), a “Balanced” mode (2880×1620 resolution targeted at 50fps), and a “Better Quality” mode (native 4K resolution locked at 30fps).

European gamers can buy and download The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II from the UK PlayStation Store here. Check out our review of the first game for more.
