Little Nightmares Complete Edition Releases This October

The “Complete Edition” of Tarsier Studios’ horror platformer Little Nightmares will be available just in time for Halloween. The physical release, which releases October 27, 2017 for $29.99, will contain the full game and a download voucher for the season pass. That includes all three pieces of DLC, including The Depths, which stars a new protagonist called the “Runaway Kid.” Players will have to lead the character through a water-based area by solving puzzles that block his way. The final two episodes aren’t out yet.

Here’s the full description of the Little Nightmares Complete Edition:

LITTLE NIGHTMARES presents a grim shadowed-filled adventure through an interactive storyline, outstanding sound design, and a unique art-style that is sure to deliver eerie chills and goosebumps. Players will control Six, a young yellow raincoat clad girl who finds herself in the bowels of The Maw – a mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal. Developed by Tarsier Studios, LITTLE NIGHTMARES COMPLETE EDITION is set for release at participating retailers October 27, 2017 with a MSRP of $29.99.

In PlayStation LifeStyle’s review of Little Nightmares, reviewer Martin Patiño said that Tarsier Studios’ horror platformer was “an entrancing yet brief journey that even those averse to horror can enjoy.” It ended up receiving a 9/10, and earned the distinction of getting an Editor’s Choice award.

Little Nightmares is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is available digitally and physically, with the physical edition including the Secrets of the Maw expansion. Developer Tarsier Studios previously worked on the LittleBigPlanet franchise, as they developed the PlayStation Vita installment. Little Nightmares was their first original game, and their second original title, a puzzle game called Statik, is in development for PlayStation VR.
