While it's definitely more action-heavy, the Far Cry series features some of the coolest open worlds in gaming. It's also filled with scenarios that let the player decide how to deal with them, which wind up being a lot of fun.
You can't beat a fantasy setting created by J.R.R. Tolkien. Shadow of Mordor isn't just a pretty face, though, as it also features some of the most polished action that can be found on PlayStation 4.
This is the most obvious entry point if you still want to explore Skyrim's world in another game. Bethesda's MMO is constantly updating, and has come a long way since it originally released. In fact, it's now one of the best in the genre.
