Gal Gun 2 for PS4

Inti Creates have formally announced Gal*Gun 2, a full-fledged numbered sequel to their shooting game series Gal*Gun. Although the previous game Gal*Gun: Double Peace was released for PS4, Vita, and Steam, Gal*Gun 2 will be instead released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It will be out in Japan this winter.

The Gal*Gun games tell the story of an ordinary high school boy who suddenly got blessed by an angel to become extremely popular among every female in the school. Continuous contacts with the girls will tire out the protagonist, so he is able to fend them off by firing Pheromone Shots with his eyesight. However, the boy is also tasked to find his true love and become a couple within an allotted amount of time; otherwise, he would receive a curse that will make him lonely for the rest of his life.

Gal*Gun 2 will have new characters appearing. For example, we have a new angel named Risu, who will be taking over the role of Ekoro from Gal*Gun: Double Peace. This sequel will also have two new heroines: Nanako, the protagonist’s childhood friend who sits right next to him in the same class, and Chiru, the protagonist’s neighbor and a silver-haired girl who shuts herself in her house. Kurona the devil is also returning from the past series games.

Gal Gun 2 - Devil Sweeper

Gal*Gun 2 will have a brushed-up Request feature that lets you take requests to exterminate devils on a daily basis, which will lead to unlocking more requests or even progressing the story. A feature from the VR exclusive game Gal*Gun VR, which was recently released on Steam, will be also added to Gal*Gun 2. The Devil Sweeper is a new weapon that lets you suck up mini-devils that are inhibiting some of the girls in the game.

Finally, Inti Creates will also have a playable demo of Gal*Gun 2 at Tokyo Game Show 2017, which will be held later this week on September 21-24. Stay tuned as we are going to deliver more information on Gal*Gun 2 in the coming days!
