Overwatch free weekend

Blizzard Announces Another Free Weekend for Overwatch

Blizzard has announced yet another free weekend for its hit multiplayer shooter, Overwatch, which will kick off on Friday, November 17.

Available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, the free trial will include the game’s full roster of 26 heroes and 16 maps alongside a variety of modes including Quick Play, Arcade, and custom games. You’ll be able to level up, earn loot boxes, and unlock customization options. Those who wish to purchase the game after the free trial is over will be able to retain their progress provided they stick to the same account that they used to play.

In a blog post, Blizzard wrote:

The Overwatch Free Weekend will run from November 17–20. PlayStation 4 owners with a PlayStation Plus membership, Xbox One owners with an Xbox Live Gold membership, and Windows PC users with a Battle.net account will be able to download and play Overwatch for FREE during this period—no special keys or sign-up codes needed!

The free period will begin on November 17 at 11:00 a.m. PT and end on November 20 at 11:59 p.m. PT in all participating regions across all platforms.
