Deraciné and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Are the Stars of FromSoftware’s Next Event

FromSoftware has announced plans to host an event in Osaka, Japan: FromSoftware Game Event Fall 2018. The event will be held on October 14, 2018 at MyDome Osaka and will be open to the public for free. During the show, FromSoftware will host a few stage presentations. Rounding out the event are four playable demos from the developer—Dark Souls Remastered on Nintendo Switch, Deraciné, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Metal Wolf Chaos XD.

Recently, teases from the studio have suggested a new Armored Core is in the works. Of course, FromSoftware refused to disclose whether it has such a project in production, but a special event seems the perfect opportunity for a reveal of this caliber.

While the wait for a new Armored Core entry continues, there’s a way for fans to celebrate the beloved franchise’s past. On FromSoftware’s official website, the studio is conducting a poll, which asks fans to vote for their favorite Armored Core track. The polling is being held ahead of Armored Core’s 20th Anniversary Box, a soundtrack boxset scheduled to release in Japan on November 1, 2018.

If you can’t make it to Osaka, no worries. Everyone will get their hands on new FromSoftware titles soon enough. Deraciné comes to PlayStation VR on November 6, 2018. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice hits the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One on March 22, 2019.
