Bizzare Mystery Puzzle Piece Teasing New Game?

August 31, 2010 Written by Anthony Severino

We’re not quite sure what’s going on here – today in our tips box we received this strange image with our site’s name on it along with 15 other well-respected websites including IGN, the official EU PlayStation Blog, and our pals over at TheSixthAxis and PSNStores. While we certainly aren’t sure, this looks a lot like a piece to a puzzle. We can only surmise that the other sites listed on the image each received different puzzle pieces. So you (us too!) will have to play scavenger hunt across these other sites to try and locate all the puzzle pieces to find out exactly what this could be.

Since we didn’t receive any details – all we got was this strange image – we can’t confirm if this is indeed for a new game. However, the image has text on it talking about a “Thruster” and “excess energy from the Quarp Drive” so it’s safe to say it’s something to do with a new game. Check out the image below (click image for full-size).

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on this mysterious puzzle piece, but in the mean time, you may want to keep an eye on the following sites listed on the image to see if any more pieces of the puzzle turn up:
