Closure to Raise Some Eyebrows, Coming to PSN Next Spring

August 25, 2011 Written by Alex Osborn

It looks like Sony fans have yet another unique and interesting title to look forward to on PlayStation Network. Slated for release sometime next spring, Eyebrow Interactive’s upcoming title, Closure is a black and white puzzle platformer that makes use of darkness and light in a refreshingly creative way.

According to lead designer and programmer Tyler Glaiel, the central game mechanic is focused around using shadows and light to solve a plethora of puzzles.

You see, in Closure’s dark and foreboding universe, the only things that exist are what you can see. An object properly lit up is physically there, yet an object shrouded in darkness ceases to be. Your character can take advantage of this by manipulating lights to effectively change the shape of the world you’re in. Wanna jump through a wall? Well you can, as long as it’s in darkness.

Closure is actually based off of a flash version of the game, which you can check out here. Completely remade, the game will include around 100 levels, new game mechanics, hand drawn art and an award winning soundtrack

For a look at how the game plays, check out the clip below. In addition, if you’re headed to PAX, you’ll be able to get some hands-on time with the game at booth 599.
