October 25, 2011 Written by Alex Osborn

Sony has revealed some additional information on the Vita’s memory cards, namely which upcoming titles will require the proprietary memory for game saves and which won’t.

According to a report from Kotaku, the following games won’t require a memory card for saving the game:

  • Asphalt: Injection
  • Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
  • F1 2011
  • Dynasty Warriors Musou Next
  • Shin Kamaitachi no Yoru
  • Dark Quest, Shinobodo 2
  • Power Smash 3
  • BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend
  • The Michael Jackson Experience
  • Mah-Jong Fight Club
  • Let’s Try Bass Fishing: Fish On Next
  • Lord of Apocalypse

Those that will require a memory stick include:

  • @field
  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Dream Club Zero
  • Disgaea 3
  • Hot Shots Golf 6
  • Monster Raider
  • Ridge Racer

Games that require a Memory Card to save may do so for a number of different reasons, possibly to install data on the card for Live Area or for DLC expansion.
