Gamers in the United Kingdom will be able to get some hands on time with the PS Vita thanks to a new promotional tour announced by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe today.
The series of promotional stops, dubbed “The Vita Room” tour, will begin in Manchester on January 13th to 18th before moving on to Glasgow, Birmingham and London. The tour is set to end sometime after the handheld’s launch on February 22nd. You can sign up to the Manchester event here.
During the marketing event, gamers will be able to try several big titles before their official release. Games on the show-floor will include Uncharted Golden Abyss, WipEout 2048, Modnation Racers and FIFA 12. Sony is pulling out all the stops by bringing out all of their AAA launch games for this UK tour.
No word on whether or not there will be a similar tour for North America, although there was a dorm tour in the US that finished last month for the PS3, so a similar promotion may happen for the Vita.
