September 2013 PlayStation Plus Free Games Announcement in Europe Coming Tomorrow, Includes Assassin’s Creed III & Urban Trial Freestyle?

While PlayStation Plus subscribers in North America are likely going to have to wait until Monday, September 2nd before we know our September line-up of free games, Europeans only have to wait until tomorrow.

Chris Howe, PlayStation Store and PlayStation Plus Content Manager, let this be known on the EU PS Blog today while also talking about how the ‘Buy 1 Year of PlayStation Plus, Get 90 Days Free’ offer in Europe is stackable, so you could, for instance, buy 2 years of PS+ and get 180 days free.

Though we’ll have to wait until tomorrow for the full list of September 2013 Instant Game Collection titles, Sony did announce during their gamescom Press Conference yesterday that Assassin’s Creed III would be one of the additions. Unfortunately, as Morgan Haro, Mr. PlayStation Plus, tweeted, Assassin’s Creed III and the PlayStation Plus 90 Day offer are only confirmed for Europe, so those in North America will just have to wait and see if we get the same deal.

In addition to Assassin’s Creed III, it looks like Europeans can expect Urban Trial Freestyle in the Instant Game Collection, with this banner on the EU Online PlayStation Store leaking it early:

As for PlayStation Plus on PlayStation 4, you can expect DriveClub PlayStation Plus Edition and ResoGun to be free at launch, with one more free PS4 game to be added each month.

Finally, although North America received The Walking Dead on PlayStation Vita with the PlayStation Store update yesterday, Europe didn’t when their Store updated today. Jawad Ashraf of the PlayStation Store said about The Walking Dead on Vita, “I haven’t got a European date to share for [TWD] at the moment.”

So, this means it could release next week, the week after, or really any time. If we happen to hear a solid release date for The Walking Dead on Vita in Europe, we’ll be sure to let you know.

What are some of the other games you hope to receive free on PlayStation Plus in September? Let us know in the comments below.
