Japanese Sales Chart: PS Vita Beats PS4, Gundam Breaker 3 Debuts in 1st

Thanks to the release of Gundam Breaker 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 hardware sales were up over the previous week, with the Vita finishing 1st overall at just under 30,000 units sold.

Combined, Gundam Breaker 3 moved 141,000 copies, easily winning the week. In terms of other PlayStation new releases, Atelier Shallie Plus for Vita placed in 4th with 19,700 sold, while Life Is Strange for PS4 debuted in 8th with 12,100 sold.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling retail games in Japan from February 29 – March 6, 2016, according to Media Create:
