Earlier this week, CD Projekt Red released The Witcher 3 update 1.22 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to fix lots of issues. Shortly after launch though, some PS4 users discovered that they couldn’t interact with NPCs or quest items.

As CD Projekt Red’s Marcin Momot explained on their forums, they’re working on a fix right now and, if you experience the issue, don’t delete your save files from version 1.20:

We’ve received reports from some gamers playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on PS4 about not being able to interact with NPCs and quest items after applying patch 1.22. We would like to inform you that we’re actively working on addressing this issue and would like to thank you for your patience in the meantime. Should you encounter this issue, we kindly ask you to hold on to your save files from version 1.20 and wait for an update from us.

Elsewhere, in our preview of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, we revealed that the campaign in the free-to-play title will run 10+ hours. As Eurogamer writes, card packs can be purchased using real-world money or an in-game currency, but CD Projekt Red hasn’t settled on final prices for either.

When opening up a card pack, three cards that are either rare quality or better will be shown, allowing you to choose one. The two you don’t pick will be discarded, and the other four cards in the pack will be chosen at random and given to you.

Have you experienced any issues in The Witcher 3 after installing update 1.22?
