Destroy All Humans! Released for PS4, Red Faction 2 Rated for PS4

After an accidental leak last month, Destroy All Humans! is now officially available for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe, priced at $19.99 USD/£15.99. Just like last time, nothing in the North American listing suggests that this is a PS2 classic releasing on PS4, but the European PlayStation Store does list it in the PS2 Classics on PS4 section.

As Exophase reveals, there’s a Platinum Trophy in Destroy All Humans!. You’ll have to unlock 37 other Trophies to get it though, and one of the Gold Trophies asks you to achieve 100% completion.

A 2.2GB – 2.3GB download, depending on your region, here’s the description for Destroy All Humans!:

This is your chance to experience the other side of an alien invasion. Take on the role of alien Cryptosporidium 137 and terrorize the people of Earth to harvest their DNA in the most brazen action-adventure you’ve ever played. Take over all of humanity using a variety of alien weaponry on land or in the air.

Take over all of humanity using a variety of alien weaponry such as a ray gun, an anal probe gun, the Ion Detonator, the Zap-O-Matic, the Sonic Boom, the Quantum Deconstructor, a powerful nuclear weapon that can launch radioactive bombs, and more – on land or in the air.

Crypto can use Telekinesis to throw cars, trucks and cows to create even more of a turmoil or disguise himself as a puny human.

For transport, use a jet pack for short distances or your UFO for travelling long distances and abducting or destroying humans.

Take one giant step on mankind!

In other PS2 games on PS4 news, Red Faction 2 was recently rated for PS4 by PEGI. Destroy All Humans 2 and Red Faction have also been rated for PS4 recently.

Meanwhile, Sony has created some confusion regarding PS2 game Suikoden IV. In last week’s PlayStation Store update post, they listed it for PlayStation 3, but it never came out. In this week’s PS Store update post, they listed it for PlayStation 4, before removing it. “Apologies, this was added in error,” Sony said about the latest inclusion.

PlayStation Europe also shows that a Killing Floor 2 beta starts on Friday, November 4.
