With the PlayStation Store update today in North America, both Red Faction and Samurai Shodown VI have gone live for PlayStation 4, priced at $14.99 USD each. In Europe, Samurai Shodown VI will be available on November 25.

Although both are likely PS2-on-PS4 games, neither listing highlights that fact, though Red Faction is listed in the PS2-on-PS4 section. Furthermore, Red Faction has a release date of December 6, so it’s possible it was published early on the PlayStation Store, just like Destroy All Humans.

A 1.3GB download, here’s the description for Red Faction:

Lured to Mars by the Ultor Corporation’s promise of a better life, thousands have come to seek their fortune and work for the massive mining company. But all is not as it seems. A deadly plague is sweeping through the barracks, and miners suffer daily abuse at the hands of the Ultor guards. Is a revolution on the horizon?

The Red Faction series revolutionized gaming with its Geo-Mod technology, the ability to completely alter and destroy the environment in real-time. Featuring 5 controllable vehicles, 15 weapons of mass destruction and a setting on Mars in the midst of a deadly plague and rebellion, the first game in the series is the perfect entry into a world of destruction and mayhem.

Bring down the Ultor Corporation, join the revolution! Join the Red Faction!

Samurai Shodown VI is a 1.4GB download and carries this description:

Choose your favorite game systems from Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown II, Samurai Shodown III, Samurai Shodown IV and Samurai Shodown V in order to battle in the most advantageous way to victory!

Samurai Shodown series characters from all previous installments and additional brand new characters including ‘Iroha’, ‘Ochamaro’, ‘Andrew’ and ‘Sugoroku’ have gathered for this gorgeous 6th opus!

The official notice of the Sunpu tournament in the shogunate presence was first announced in Edo, and word quickly spread to various lands, finally becoming familiar news throughout the world.

The age: Tenmei. The venue: The world. The prize: Glory. The curtain now rises on the samurai world’s greatest specacle… ‘En garde! Let the games begin!’

The Trophy list for Samurai Shodown VI reveals that a Platinum Trophy isn’t included. To unlock the one Gold Trophy you’ll need to clear Arcade mode with every playable character.

According to recent ratings, both Destroy All Humans 2 and Red Faction 2 will come to PS4 in the future.
