A rumor had started this morning over the supposed release window for Batman: Arkham Asylum 2. The German Warner Bros. website had listed the follow up to one of 2009’s best games for an October release. However, Warner Bros. has since responded to this rumor and given a not-so-surprising answer.
A representative for the company has given a statement on the matter, saying:
“The ‘German web site tags Arkham Asylum 2 for October’ story is based on inaccurate information on the German Warner site. That information was taken down a couple of hours ago, accordingly. We haven’t announced a release date for the sequel to Batman Arkham Asylum yet and I’ll let you know as soon as we have any news.”
The rep then confirmed that the release date for Arkham Asylum 2 is “not October.”
