John Marston Kills GameStop Red Dead [UPDATE]

Beginning at 12:00pm EST, GameStop began their usual powerhour sale. Despite being both a popular and top-selling game, one of the best gameg so far of 2010, Red Dead Redemption, was thrown on sale for the unbelievable price of only $23.99. Unfortunately, the GameStop servers have paid the price.

Since the beginning of the sale, the official GameStop site has been crashed and reports errors such as “Server too Busy” or loads a blank screen. Sister site EBGames was also host to the sale and felt the effects of Red Dead Redemption’s wrath as well. Both sites are still currently down as the time ticks till sale expiration.

The sale will last until 1:00pm EST or until stock has run out, so try your hand with the website servers and try to claim your copy of Red Dead Redemption before the time stops ticking!

[UPDATE] Although the servers are starting to regain consciousness, it seems the PS3 version of the game is sold out.
