Community Mailbox 2

One of our favorite things to do here at PlayStation LifeStyle, is to read our user’s comments. We’re not exaggerating at all when we say, “we read every single comment posted on the site”. We love to hear your thoughts on recent news, our reviews, along with your questions and comments. We enjoy it so much, we decided to open up a community mailbox, much like you see in your favorite gaming magazines, where you can ask the PSLS staff questions, send comments about our work, the site, or even just to tell us a gaming related joke. Each week, at the end of the week, we’ll post our favorite questions, comments, etc. on the site.

Week one of the PSLS Community Mailbox has now come to an end. After the jump we reveal our favorite (and weirdest) questions asked to us during the past week. We also reveal the letter of the week, in which the winner will receive a free $10 PlayStation Network card.

If you’d like to participate in next week’s Community Mailbox feature, just send an email to letters@playstationlifestyle.net containing whatever it is you want to say. Be sure to include your site username in your email. If you aren’t a registered member of PlayStation LifeStyle, click here to register. Next week’s letter of the week get’s an official Killzone 3 t-shirt, so be sure to make your email interesting!

Henke911 writes:“Do you have a real office where you write news all day?”

PSLS: We do have a central office located just outside Boston, Massachusetts, the majority of us work on PlayStation LifeStyle remotely from all over the United States and the UK.

Exovedate writes: “Hey guys! I love your site, and it’s my first stop for PlayStation news everyday (before Kotaku, and Joystiq). I’ve been so excited for the PlayStation Move that I created a theme for it. Check it out: http://shadowchiller.deviantart.com/art/Playstation-Move-Ps3-Theme-173394292

PSLS: Great theme Exo, you’ll have to make a PlayStation LifeStyle theme next! Thanks for making sure to visit us first over those other sites, we can’t say we blame you.

gunblade15 writes: “What are each of the staff members most memorable moments on this site?”

PSLS: Well Mr. Gun (can we call you that?), there’s over 20 members in total on the staff, and I don’t care about what they think. Only me, me, me! All kidding aside, I’m sure the most of us would agree that being able to attend E3 in person tops any other moment on the site. Or if you want something more specific, it’d be the time a few of us met Sony Computer Entertainment Chairman and CEO, Kaz Hirai.

Bones00 writes: “Is there a way I can fix my PS3 without sending it into Sony for service?”

PSLS: While we always recommend you send your PS3 to Sony to fix it, especially if it’s still in warranty, some users on our forums swear by a method created by “Gilsky” to fix the dreaded YLOD,. To view the Gilsky YLOD fix, check out this thread in our forums: http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2376

(Disclaimer: PlayStation LifeStyle is not responsible for any damage you may cause to your PS3 while using Gilsky’s “fix” and we do not guarantee the fix to work)

PSLS: Excuse me while I finish vomiting. Is this serious? Well, we take all our reader emails seriously so I’ll do my best to answer this… The rest of the staff cannot look like Cameron, because, well, he’s too damn handsome. Cameron just got married to his lovely wife just recently, so he’s off the market. As for the League of Teague, ehem, where do I sign up?

LETTER OF THE WEEK!

SolidCake_ writes: “So, who would win in a fight between the Dos Equis guy & Kevin Butler?”

PSLS: Ooooh, tough question, the most interesting man in the world against the VP of everything awesome. We’re a big fan of Dos Equis and drinking it makes us “strong like bull” so we’d have to assume it does the same for the Dos Equis guy. However, after seeing ole’ KB in those orange gym shorts we’d have to give it to Kevin Butler and his pew, pew, pew action. BOOM to the power of BOOM!
