The era of digital downloads is getting close; that is, if the state of the latest DJ Max is any indication. PM Studios is planning both a PSN and UMD release of DJ Max Portable 3 for PSP – with a little bit of a twist.DJ Max Portable 3 will be releasing on the PSN October 19th, and on UMD October 14th. The twist is the UMD version is going to be extremely limited – only 5,000 allocated for North America – and no doubt hard to come by.
A limited edition of 1,000 additional discs will be released through bemanistyle for $110, and will include the following:

- Alternate Coversheet
- Special Art Book
- DJMAX PORTABLE 3 SOUNDTRACK
- Deluxe Packaging
- Contest Voucher
