More Assassin’s Creed Coming in 2011

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. That’s because as of this morning, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is releasing at retail–just like Assassin’s Creed II last year–to kick off the holiday shopping season. If all goes according to Ubisoft’s plans, we should mark our calendars for this time next year for yet another installment from the stealth-action franchise.

In what is becoming an annual release for Ubisoft, Assassin’s Creed is one of their top grossing franchises. So it’s not too much of a surprise to see that Ubi is looking to milk every last drop from their cash cow.

In an investor call yesterday, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that “There will be something around Assassin’s” due in the coming fiscal year. While that does give the next game up until March 2012 to be released, if the last year’s November 17th release for Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood‘s November 16th release are anything to go by, we’ll be seeing more come next November.

Are you ready for Assassin’s Creed to become an annual affair?
