Winner: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker
There is no sentence I can think of with the words “Best PSP Exclusive” that wouldn’t also include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Kojima-san promised us an “MGS 5 class” game, and he delivered. The storyline is every bit as epic as something you would see on the PS3. Peace Walker felt exactly like a portable version of a home console MGS game should without feeling like a dumbed-down version. The ad-hoc only multiplayer was the only minor blemish on this otherwise stellar game, and in some ways it was a virtue; the only thing more fun than taking out Monster Hunter monsters with rocket launchers by yourself is taking them out with a group of friends.
