If you thought the streak of new racing titles over the past few months was over, you would most certainly be wrong, as Eden Games has officially finished development on their latest title, and it’s shaping up quite nicely, to say the least.
That new title is, of course, the latest iteration in the Test Drive series, Test Drive Unlimited 2. The game has officially gone gold, and is all set for its grand launch next month. From what we know now, this isn’t supposed to be your typical racer. Players will have the ability to not only race their whips, but customize them, purchase clothes, and even go as far as purchasing new real estate. Add to this an always-on online world reminiscent of Burnout Paradise, along with all the bells and whistles like realistic car damage, and a full day/night weather cycle, and you have all the makings of a serious contender in today’s hostile racing climate.
