The Da Vinci Disappearance Emerges in March

A new expansion pack for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood has been announced by Ubisoft, and is set to be the biggest pack to hit the game yet when it releases in March.

The new pack is titled The Da Vinci Disappearance, which revolves around Ezio trying to find his good friend, Leonardo Da Vinci, who has been kidnapped by the Hermeticists. The single player portion of the pack introduces two new locations, spans eight missions, and two new, but yet to be detailed, gameplay features. They haven’t forgotten you trophy hunters either, and have included ten new trophies to add to your virtual mantel.

The multiplayer portion also packs a bunch of new goodies, such as four new characters to play as: the Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah. A new map set in Spain’s Albaicin of Granada is titled Alhambra, and includes multiple levels indoor and outdoors to stalk your prey on. To top it all off, two new game modes are also being thrown into the mix. The first new game mode is Assassinate Mode, which is simply a 10 minute team deathmatch for eight to ten players. The other is the appropriately titled Escort mode, which has two teams trying to defend their VIP player, or attempting to murder their opponents’ VIP.

With both single player and multiplayer additions to the game coming in The Da Vinci Disappearance, it looks like Ubisoft is packing a lot of value into the new addition for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. When it releases this March the price will be set at $9.99. Will you be sneaking around the Alhambra next month?
