Rumors about the existence of God of War IV have persisted for some time now, claiming that the game is in development and also that it was allegedly supposed to be revealed at E3 last year. GOWIV may actually be in development, though, as the title has recently appeared on the resume of a composer.
Timothy Williams is an award-winning composer who has worked on quite a number of notable projects (including 2009’s Up in the Air starring George Clooney). Williams has a section on his resume where he’s listed video games that he’s worked on as well — games that include a Transformers title from Activision and Rise of the Argonauts. In this section of his resume, Williams has listed God of War IV. He has written that the game is “upcoming” from “Sony Entertainment.”
God of War IV has not been officially announced by Sony. If there are any updates on GOWIV, PSLS will keep you posted.
