Square Enix has released a new trailer for upcoming RPG and sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2. In this trailer, the usefulness of the Moogle that accompanies Serah and Noel is detailed.
The first part of the trailer shows the Mog navigating the environment in a “Moogle Hunt,” in which he searches for treasure. Moogle brings the item to the player’s attention and the player directs the character to go pick it up. The next part shows “Moogle Throw,” where you can see a Moogle being tossed by Noel to reach prizes that may be out of reach. Finally, the trailer shows “The Mog Clock” feature, which is a clock that activates before battle. Depending on where it stops, players may receive a benefit or a penalty when going into battle.
