Demo For The Darkness II Coming To PSN, Xbox Live and Steam

Jackie Estacado, The Darkness, and quad-wielding chaos are on their way to a platform near you in the not too distant future, as a demo has been announced for The Darkness II.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers will get to play the demo first on Tuesday, January 17th. A week later, on Tuesday, January 24th, the demo will be available to PSN users in North America and available worldwide for Xbox Live and Steam (PC) users. Finally, on Wednesday, January 25th, the demo will be made available to PSN users in Europe and the Asia/Pacific territories as well.

The Darkness II is Digital Extremes’ sequel to well-received FPS The Darkness, which was developed by Starbreeze (who also developed The Chronicles Of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay). The game is centered around mafia criminal Jackie Estacado, who becomes possessed by an ancient evil known as The Darkness.

The Darkness II is scheduled to be released on February 7th for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
