Dead Island Dev Announces Mad Riders For PSN, Xbox Live, & PC, Releases Screenshots & Trailer

Ubisoft has announced Mad Riders, an arcade off-road ATV and Buggy racing game from developer Techland, for PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, and PC.

The cel-shaded racer has three multiplayer modes with support for up to 12 players, 45 different tracks based on tropical locales from around the world, worldwide online leaderboards, a large selection of ATVs and Buggies to choose from, character and vehicle customization, track shortcuts, and aerial stunts.

Boosting is said to be the key to victory in the game. The boost bar can be filled by performing aerial stunts or by collecting rings on tracks.

The trailer is nearly all gameplay and shows the stunts and fast gameplay action of the title, in addition to a very brief look at the game’s customization possibilities. The screenshots of the game show stunts, wheelies, a driver passing another by driving aggressively, and a Buggy (which is said to have more stability, while the ATV has superior drifting).
