THQ has announced the release date and pre-order bonuses for upcoming action-adventure title Darksiders II.
Darksiders II will release for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on June 26th and in Europe on the 29th. (A Wii U version is also in development.)
THQ has also announced the pre-order bonuses for Darksiders II:
- Gamers who pre-order from GameStop will receive the “Death Rides” pack, which adds around two additional hours of content and features multiple exclusive side quests. The “Death Rides” pack will enable players to explore more of Maker’s Realm and Dead Plains, in addition to earning additional experience and loot. Players will aid an ancient Construct, battle The Bloodless, and retrieve Karn’s lost treasure in the pack.
- Gamers who pre-order from Best Buy will receive the “Angel of Death” pack, which is a unique set of enhanced armor with an angel-inspired design, with upgraded matching scythes and “an exclusive visual trail” for Death’s crow, Dust.
- Gamers who pre-order from Amazon will receive the “Deadly Despair” pack, which adds a permanent additional speed boost for Death’s steed, Despair, allowing players to travel more quickly.
THQ did release screenshots of the pre-order bonuses as well. The first two in the Media Gallery below are of the Death Rides pack, the second two are of the Angel of Death pack, and the final image is of the Deadly Despair pack.
