If you’ve seen any of the prior footage detailing Gearbox’s upcoming sequel to the loot-heavy shooter Borderlands, then I’m sure you’re itching for more information, as the sequel looks to deliver a satisfying experience that out-shines its predecessor in nearly every way. Fortunately we have some exciting news for you as the game has been confirmed for a September 18th release, something that has been outed via a brand-new trailer.
According to the studio’s president Randy Pitchford, “Borderlands 2 is a passion project, through and through. The result is a sequel that has improved every successful aspect of Borderlands while innovating with an all-new experience.” Judging by the game’s latest trailer, they’re definitely delivering on this promise.

As is evidenced by the trailer, those who pre-order the game will be able to get in on the Borderlands Premiere Club, which entitles gamers to all sorts of in-game goodies.
