While it was initially promised to us earlier in the week, a patch that will remedy some of Twisted Metal’s online woes is set to go live later today. Ever since the game launched last week, the online experience has been marred by network connection issues, which this update is supposed to resolve.
This news comes via and update on David Jaffe’s blog, where he assures gamers that the patch should go live sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 PM. Oddly enough he doesn’t specify a timezone and goes on to say that it could actually arrive earlier or later than that window, so really all we can conclude is that sometime today the update should be available.
It’s clear that Jaffe wants nothing more than a stellar online experience for the loyal Twisted Metal community, although he is once again breaking his anti-patch rule. Be sure to let us know what you think of the game thus far in the comments below.
