New Sleeping Dogs Behind The Scenes Trailer Shows The Making Of The Game’s Hong Kong Setting

Square Enix has released a new trailer for upcoming open-world game Sleeping Dogs.

In the trailer, United Front Games Executive Producer Stephen Van Der Mescht, Senior Producer Jeff O’Connell, and other staff talk about the extensive research they did on the city of Hong Kong in order to bring the setting of Sleeping Dogs to life. They talk about why they chose Hong Kong for the game’s setting, going beyond just reading books and watching films to learn more about the city, learning more about the interactions between the police and the Triads, and more. The trailer shows some real-life footage of Hong Kong, in addition to bits and pieces of in-game footage.
