Sony Takes Down Vita Firmware v1.65

Sony’s latest firmware update for the PlayStation Vita was released a short while ago, but has since been removed due to what the company is calling a “technical fault.”

The ability to download the update has been removed, but Sony is assuring gamers who have already downloaded the firmware that their experience should be fine as well.

The status of the update was first reported on the EU PS Blog, which explained:

PS Vita system software update 1.65 has been taken down temporarily due to a technical fault. For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal. We will notify you once the latest system software update is available to download again.

Keep it locked to PlayStation LifeStyle for future updates regarding Vita software and all things PlayStation.
