Square Enix has just announced the release date of their upcoming action title Sleeping Dogs. The game is set for release in August and will contain a handful of pre-order bonuses.
According to this morning’s press release, the game will be available on August 14th for North America, leaving those in Europe waiting until the 17th. As an added incentive to pre-order Sleeping Dogs, those who put down money on the game early will receive a limited edition pack which Square has confirmed to include:

- GSP’s signature flying punch
- Exclusive GSP outfit including T-shirts, headband and shorts
- The GSP outfit unlocks the flying punch and increases grappling and throwing damage
Police Protection Content:
- Exclusive High Speed Mission
- Exclusive HK Police SWAT outfit
- Exclusive assault riffle
- Exclusive SWAT police vehicle
Sleeping Dogs is being developed by United Front Games – the team behind ModNation Racers – and is coming to the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
