Splinter Cell: Blacklist Gets an Official Release Date, It’s Pretty Far Away

Last we had heard about the Splinter Cell: Blacklist release date was that it would be arriving at some point during the Spring, but that has now been changed to the somewhat late Summer as it will come to North America on August 20th.

This date was announced in the latest trailer for Blacklist, titled ‘Inauguration’, and you can watch it right here:

You may have noticed that the end of the video also tells you about a pre-order bonus, which is the Upper Echelon Pack. This DLC pack includes some gold glowing goggles, an upper echelon suit, and the Aral Sea co-op mission. If they happen to add any more bonuses before launch though, we’ll let you know.

Are you happy that you’ll have a game to play in the Summer? Or did you want Splinter Cell: Blacklist sooner than this? Let us know in the comments below.
