Update: We’ve heard multiple reports (including one from Sony) that the disc benefits are now working, so give it a try and let us know if it works in the comments.
Original Story: Everyone who picked up Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time at retail today on PS3 was given a free PlayStation Vita copy, thanks to Cross Buy. When you went to access the ‘Disc Benefits’ section on the XMB after the PlayStation Store updated today, though, you probably noticed that it wasn’t working properly.
Sony is aware of this problem and have issued this response on the matter in the PlayStation forums:
We’re aware that the PS Vita download functionality for Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time is not working as intended for the disc benefits. We’ve got the team on the case and I’ll be providing an update on the progress, but we aim to resolve this ASAP.
You’re able to subscribe to that forum post to receive an email notification when it does finally work, or you can just keep repeatedly hitting F5 while on this post where we’ll let you know when everything is resolved.
