MLB 12: The Show was a great game for getting people educated on how Cross Saves would work between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, with the feature being heavily promoted in the commercials. After the announcement of Cross Buy last year, it seemed like MLB 13: The Show would be a lock for being a part of the program, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Not only is the Cross Buy logo not splattered across the MLB 13: The Show box art, Amazon.com is now running a promotion that gives you a $20 discount if you buy both the PS3 and PS Vita versions of the game. This is exactly the same deal offered last year, which is nice, but they likely wouldn’t offer this if a PS Vita copy was going to be free with a PS3 one.
If you want to take advantage of the $20 off deal though, simply head over to this page on Amazon.com before March 4th, one day prior to launch, and add both games to your cart.
We’ve reached out to Sony for a comment on MLB 13: The Show possibly not including Cross Buy and we’ll let you know if we hear anything back.
