PSN Gamers’ Choice Awards 2013 Nominations Start Later Today, Winners go on Sale February 26th

Starting later today when the PlayStation Store updates and running until February 25th, the PSN Gamer’s Choice Awards 2013 Nominations will begin on the PSN and Sony Entertainment Network Online Store.

To cast your vote, simply download a free XMB theme and then choose one of three games in 10 different categories. The winners will be chosen on February 26th and go on sale that same day, likely at 30% off for everyone and 50% off for PlayStation Plus members, though the discount amount is just speculation at this point.

So, when you’re voting, remember that you want to pick the game you would like to see go on sale, rather than picking your favorite, essentially defeating the point of the ‘award’.
