If you were worried that God of War: Ascension would buck the trend of including unlockable content, you need worry no more. Aaron Kaufman, Community Strategist at Sony Santa Monica, took to the PS Blog to answer a few fan questions and responded to one commenter who asked a lot of questions, including the possibility of a new game plus, bonus content, and clan support:
Great questions. Only one we can answer right now is our entire Unchained Behind the Scenes series will be unlockable on the disc to watch in glorious HD TV.
There’s currently 7 Unchained videos available, all ranging from about 5 minutes to 9 minutes, so if you haven’t checked them out, you’re in for a very long making of documentary after you beat God of War: Ascension.
In terms of further unlockables, we can only speculate at this point, but there should be some ‘Challenge of’ objectives and costumes to use in replays (trophies likely disabled when you wear them). We’ll have to wait a couple of weeks to find out exactly what goodies await after beating the game, so stay tuned.
As for the chance of God of War: Ascension becoming a PSN download on Day 1, it was only said that they’ll have “more info to follow on this shortly.”
