With the Uprising DLC set to release on May 16th, it looks like Activision wants to give the world even more Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 this month. Though nothing has been said by the company as of yet, Amazon.ca has listed the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Game of the Year Edition for release on May 21st, with a price of $59.99.
There’s no other information given about this, but if it’s real, there’s really only a handful of possibilities for what would be packaged in. First up, it could pull a Battlefield 3: Premium Edition and include the game and Season Pass, giving you free access to all of the DLC map packs for Black Ops 2. Since the latest Call of Duty is still selling really well and giving away all the DLC for free wouldn’t be lucrative, the more likely option is that it will include the Revolution and Uprising map packs for free.
We’ve reached out to Activision regarding the legitimacy of this Game of the Year Edition listing and we’ll let you know if we hear anything back.
