Both Velocity Ultra and Coconut Dodge: Revitalised from FuturLab on PlayStation Vita have already seen their release in Europe, with the wait for North American fans comes to an end on Tuesday, July 9th. No price was announced as of yet for either title, but the prices in the UK are £6.49 for Ultra and £1.99 for Revitalised, so they won’t be too expensive.
Explaining what took so long for these games to arrive in North America was James Marsden, Managing Director at FuturLab:
It was legal brand compliance issues mainly, and the fact some of our cheat codes made it possible for players to proceed toward unlocking trophies more easily. We don’t intend to release the cheat codes to the public, but Sony wanted them removed. That, along with lots of legal branding issues.
So far, Coconut Dodge: Revitalised has passed 20,000 players, a number which will definitely rise come July.
