Shuhei Yoshida: PlayStation 4 Supports 4 Controllers, Arabic Language for PS4 “Not in the Immediate Future”

Shortly following the news that the Xbox One would support 8 controllers, Shuhei Yoshida, President of Worldwide Studios, was flooded with questions like “How many controllers does the PS4 support?,” “How many controllers can be connected to the PS4 at one time?,” and “How many controllers can be connected to the PS4? Will it be 7 again?”

As a man of few words and Twitter characters, Shuhei simply replied to those above questions with, “4.” He hasn’t explained why they’ve decided to cap it at 4, but if we hear anything, we’ll let you know.

Addressing numerous people who were upset over the announcement that the PS4 wouldn’t include Arabic, Shuhei gave out the following answers to various Twitterers:

  • We are aware of the needs, I just meant not in the immediate future.
  • I meant not in the immediate future due to technical issues.
  • We are aware of the request, we are not ignoring.
  • Sorry, I meant not in the immediate future. We are aware of the request.

Also, you can’t use a DualShock 4 on a PS3.

How many controllers do you plan on getting for the PS4? Let us know in the comments below.
