Warframe Trophy Guide (PS4)

Warframe2

Welcome to PlayStation LifeStyle’s trophy guide for Warframe! This free to play PlayStation 4 launch title has received trophies in the recent 11.5 patch. There is nothing here that is difficult, just very time consuming. These trophies can all be obtained without having to spend any real money.

Unfortunately, there is some bad news here: The trophies are not retroactive. Any weapons, items or Warframes you have leveled up will not count. You will have to start over from level 1 weapons, items and Warframes. There was also 2 additional updates that added 4 trophies to Warframe. Those are included in this guide as well.

One last thing before we get started, experience points in this game is referred to as Affinity. So, just a heads up as that is referred to a lot in this guide and is a big part of earning a majority of the trophies.

Spoiler Warning: No spoilers!

Sentinels are companions that accompany you on missions. There are different types of Sentinels that will aid you in different ways. It doesn’t matter which one you take with you as they will level up on their own during missions. You can buy Sentinels with Platinum, but if you don’t have any you can build them in the Foundry. Leveling up weapons is not difficult, but it is time consuming. To level up a weapon all you need to do is use it. Killing enemies with a weapon will gain Affinity for it. The weapons need to be built in the Foundry or can be purchased using Platinum.  The Survival and Endless mission types are ideal for leveling up weapons as the enemies spawn infinitely. Here is a list of Shotguns:

  • Boar Prime
  • Hek
  • Strun
  • Sobek
  • Tigris

Healer – Bronze

– Revive 10 allies.

See the trophy Field Medic for more information.

Our Tools Shape Us – Bronze

– Apply 4 different Mods to a single weapon or Warframe.

Mods are found during missions. They enemies drop them when they are killed and they can be found it containers when opened. You’ll know when you pick one up because there will be a big orange flash and a card will pop up on the right side of the screen. To apply Mods you need to go to the Main Menu then to Arsenal and press Triangle on your weapon or Warframe. Next, press X on a clear square on the right of the screen. That will allow you to pick a Mod from the left of the screen and apply it. Depending on the level of your weapon or Warframe, you will see a number indicating how many Mod Points you have. Each Mod costs Mod points. Low level weapons and Warframes will not have enough Mod Points to apply 4 of them. Mod Points are earned by leveling up weapons or Warframes. There are symbols in the upper right of the Mod card and blank spaces, if you match a card with a symbol to the blank space that has the same symbol it will cut the cost of placing the Mod.

No Longer a Rookie – Bronze

– Reach Rank 2 with any Warframe.

This will most likely be your first trophy. Just play and complete a few levels gaining Affinity and you’ll have it fairly quickly.

Special Agent  – Bronze

– Solve 10 Ciphers.

Ciphers are computer consoles found throughout some missions that you will need to hack. Press Circle to initiate the puzzle, point L3 toward each tile and press X on the highlighted tile to move it. They are timed puzzles that require you to line up the lines on the hexagon tiles. These aren’t too difficult and if you fail you can try it again. The tiles will turn green when you complete them.

It Keeps Getting Better – Gold

– Play for 10 hours.

Play the game for 10 accumulative hours and go to Profile from the Main Menu. Press X on your Profile to update your stats and the trophy will pop. This trophy may be glitched as it popped for me after having only played for two and half hours.

Update 1

Angel of Death – Bronze

– Get 100 kills in a single mission.

To earn this trophy you’ll want to play the Endless Defense missions or the Survival missions. The enemies in theses game types spawn infinitely, so it shouldn’t take you too long earn this trophy.

Field Medic – Silver

– Revive 100 allies.

When an ally goes down run over to them, press and hold Circle to revive them. You’ll know an ally is down when you see a red health bar draining above their character.

Update 2

Weapon Smith – Bronze

– Build an item in the Foundry.

See the trophy Scientist for more details.

Scientist – Silver

– Build 20 items in the Foundry.

There are a few things that you will need in order build items. First you will need acquire the blueprints for an item. Those can purchased from the Market. Next, you will need Resources and Credits. The Resources and Credits can be found during missions, killing enemies or opening crates and lockers. Once you have everything required and build an item it will take some time to actually complete. This can take between 12 hours and 3 days. This process can be sped up by using Platinum, but that costs real money if you don’t already have some. The item will continue to be built even when you are not playing the game. After the item has completed go to the Foundry and press X on the completed item to acquire it. An item is not counted as completed until you actually go to the Foundry and retrieve it by pressing X on it.
