PSN Goes Offline for Some PS4 Owners, Sony is Working on a Fix (Update)

Update: The PlayStation Support site has updated and it appears as though everything is back to normal.

Original Story: A short while ago, PSN users on their PS4 began reporting trouble logging into their account and/or accessing the PlayStation Store in a timely manner. We aren’t sure if this is a by-product of the maintenance yesterday or explains why the PlayStation Store update in North America is delayed, but Sony did acknowledge they are aware of the situation on their website:

PlayStation 4 users are currently unable to access the PlayStation Store and may experience connectivity issues with PSN. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

The issue will hopefully be fixed soon, and you can follow both @SuperFastZombie and @Envisager_ to stay up to date with any developments on the PSN status. We’ll also do our best to let you know of any changes.
