Japanese Sales Chart: Pokemon Art Academy Finishes in 1st With Just 31,000 Sold

It was a pretty slow week overall in Japan, with Pokemon Art Academy for the 3DS debuting in 1st place at just over 31,000 sold. Art Academy is then followed by 3DS mainstay Yokai Watch in 2nd and Mario Kart 8 in 3rd.

Aside from a small uptick for the 3DS and PS Vita TV, every single system fell compared to last week’s numbers, though the PlayStation Vita did manage to hold firm in 2nd place, behind the 3DS. The PSP, however, continues to fall and garnered only 2,300 in sales.

Here’s how each system sold, along with the top 20 selling games in Japan between June 16 and June 22, 2014, according to Media Create:
